We have traditional ties with the publishing arm of the American Institute of Physics (AIP) who was the publisher of the first nine AMiTaNS conferences. The
proceedings of the previous AMiTaNS conferences (volumes 1186, 1301, 1404, 1487, 1561, 1629, 1684, 1773, 1895) were published online
by AIP only three-four months after the end of the respective
meeting. Hoping to reprise these
good achievements and extend our collaboration we contracted the
proceedings of the 9th and 10th AMiTaNS again with AIP on October 20th 2016. On October 17th 2017 we signed an addendum to the contract confirming the date and the location of AMiTaNS'18.
Each
presented talk can be submitted as only one contribution. All papers
will be rigorously refereed, and the accepted ones will be published as a volume
of the Proceedings series of the American Institute of Physics. The
manuscripts must be submitted in AIP conference proceedings format with
tentative length of eight 8.5 x 11 inch single-column pages for
the regular papers and twelve 8.5 x 11 inch single-column pages for the
invited talks. The length of papers said above is optional. According to the publishing policy of AIP the papers can be longer/more substantial without any cost implications. Tutorials, reviews, etc. are welcome as well.
The
authors should send as attachments the electronic
versions of their final works to the proceedings editors at conference@eac4amitans.eu or eac4amitans@gmail.com or
have them on CD or flash memory at the conference. As an exception some
papers will be accepted late, but no later than July 31, 2018. This will
allow us to ensure the proper reviewing process. The manuscripts must
be accompanied by signed Transfer of Copyright form, Permission
Requests for Permission to Reprint Published Material form (if any),
and Offprint Order form if you wish to order offprints of your paper
(if any). All these forms as well as the LaTeX (sample.tex) or MS
Word style guides for the 8.5 x 11 inch format (8_point5_x11_single_column_template.dotx) are
available on the AIP website at
http://aip.scitation.org/apc/authors/download . For author's convenience we were provided by AIP CP staff
article preparation and copyright license checklists.
